Dr. Sameer Jejurikar works at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. He is a board-certified plastic and reconstruction surgeon. Plastic surgery is partly science and partly art and he has mastered both of these aspects. He has extensive experience working on the face, nose, eyes, breast, and body. He does hair transplantation using minimally invasive techniques. He uses Crisalix in his office which is a 3-D imaging system where people can see what they will look like after surgery is performed on them.
He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School. He residency was performed at The University of Michigan Hospital and Health Centers. His three hospital affiliations are Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, the Dallas Medical Center, and Pine Creek Medical Center. Dr. Sameer Jejurikar ranks very highly in patient experience ratings including clarity of instructions, bedside manner, thoroughness of examination, and ability to answer his patient’s questions.
Dr. Sameer Jejurikar says that safety must always come first in a surgery. Over the course of his 21-year career, he has always made that the top priority for the patients he has seen. One way he is advancing the cause of safety-first is by working with other industry professionals to set up best practices. They are also doing studies to determine the best way to perform some surgeries such as the best access incision places.
He has also publically spoken at a number of medical conferences in the United States and abroad. He wants to spread the word about the best way to do some surgeries and how to perform them in the most safe manner. He says he really enjoys making a positive impact in the lives of his patients which includes his work and private life. He says when a surgery is successful he feels as if the made the world just a bit better.
